About The Role:

This is a 7-month fixed term role covering maternity leave and can either be full time or part time.

Are you an experienced HR generalist who enjoys balancing operational delivery with meaningful people initiatives? At Tuatahi we are looking for a People & Capability Advisor to provide practical, trusted advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.

As our P&C Advisor, you’ll provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance while also contributing to wider culture and capability programmes. You’ll ensure policies and processes are applied consistently, risks are managed appropriately, and managers feel confident navigating people matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing sound HR and ER advice to managers, including performance management, disciplinary processes, remuneration, and change matters

• Managing end-to-end recruitment, including role grading, advertising, interviewing, offers, onboarding and offboarding

• Supporting culture and engagement initiatives, including pulse measures and follow-up actions

• Maintaining accurate HR data across systems and preparing reports for leadership and the Board

• Supporting learning and development programmes and leadership workshops

Skills and Experience Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent qualification

• 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role

• Proven experience providing ER advice and supporting managers through people processes

• Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice

• Experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end
